Galvanized Steel Tape for Cable and Wire Armouring

1. Application:

It is mainly used as armoring of power cables.

2. Standard:

ASTM/A879/A 879M; ICEA S-66, ASTM A90, ASTM A93, ASTM A459, BS 2989, IS 3975 or as per your specification.

3. Mechanical properties of steel Tape:

The nominal thickness of the steel strip is ≤0.20mm, the tensile strength should be ≥295N/mm, and the elongation after breaking should be ≥17%;

The nominal thickness of the steel strip is >0.20mm~0.30mm, the tensile strength should be ≥295N/mm, and the elongation after breaking should be ≥20%;

Steel engineering thickness > 0.30mm, tensile strength should be ≥ 295N/mm, and elongation after fracture ≥ 20%.

4. Galvanized steel Tape:

The galvanized steel strip is galvanized with zinc ingots. Zinc ingots for electro-galvanizing shall meet the requirements of No. 1 zinc in GB/T 470, the content of Zn shall be ≥99.99%, the content of impurity Pb shall be ≤0.003%, Cd≤0.002%, Fe≤0.001%, Cu≤0.001%, Sn ≤0.001%, Al≤0.001%, the sum is less than 0.005%
